2015–16 featured a resdiency with leading California composer and vocalist Ken Ueno, which included the commission and premiere of Sawdust on Ararat, and a performance of Ken's concerto for overtone singer and orchestra.

 Alia Musica partnered with the Eastman Broadband and other artists to bring this 4-city tour of Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon's Pulitzer Prize finalist opera  Comala , based on Juan Rulfo's  Pedro Páramo.
