In 2019–20 Alia Musica performed as guest at the Cleveland Uncommon Sound Project, the Microtonal Music Festival (Music on the Edge, Pittsburgh), and City of Asylum, in addition to giving the US premiere of The Mother of Fishes, the opera by CMU computer scientist and composer Roger Dannenberg—before the Covid 19 pandemic forced the postponement of concerts at Heinz Chapel, Slippery Rock University, and Chatham University.
